Myrtle Beach, SC, March 19, 2024 ─ Peak Performance Team (PPT) is proud to announce Rod A. Heasley’s promotion to the position of Vice President of Training and Development, which will see him leading the company’s training division, “PPT University” (PPTU).
PPTU offers an entire suite of courses--held on location or remotely--on topics from auto sales techniques for beginners to advanced F&I management. Courses are available not only to PPT’s dealer-partners, but to any dealership interested in staff development. Sessions can even be scheduled through each state’s Independent Auto Dealers Association (IADA).
“PPT University will increase the number and quality of tools available to any dealership’s staff,” Heasley says, “a solid foundation of knowledge and techniques leads to better served customers, which leads to repeat business, which leads to higher profits for the dealership; that’s a win/win.”
When it comes to dealership operations, Heasley speaks with over 30 years experience in dealerships and as a senior management executive in the vehicle service contract industry. Since 2022, Heasley has served as PPT’s lead trainer and liaison to the state IADA’s.
“Rod has a knack for quickly assessing the needs of a dealership and tailoring the appropriate course to remedy those issues,” PPT President R. Michael Burgholzer adds, “he’s the perfect choice to further develop PPT University as VP of Training and Development.”

These seminars offer dealerships the crucial training needed to be currently successful in the automotive sales industry.
